Timings of the school day

We have different timings during different school days. For example, we sometimes have a time period in the mornings (usually once a week) called Enrichment. Enrichment is when we reflect on certain subjects and do different activities like creating this blog. This shortens our period times in the same day. All the lessons are shortened to 35 minutes. Some lessons are only 40 minutes (eg. Library, Geography (there is also full Geography lessons), RE/Islam, Literacy and Maths). Other lessons are 1 hour and 20 minutes long.

Events

As a school, we obviously have events. Some events include

• Swimming gala
• Sports day
• Think pink day
• National day
• Global citizens day
• House sports week
• Challenge day
• And a lot more.....!

House events

With house events, first we meet in our houses. We have a quick assembly with our head of house. Each house meets in a different venue, and the venue will be given to you on the day of the meeting.

Other events
With other event we may be able to dress up, bake food for bake sales or something else according to the day.
With all these events, instructions will either be given on the day or the day before.
